On a recent trip to Namibia I experienced stillness while walking alone along a dry river bed. The only sound was my footsteps, everything else was dead still, it was an eerie feeling and the sky seemed much bigger than before. The light and colours around me felt amplified. With this painting I aim to capture that experience.
