Definition: A long and eventful or adventurous journey or experience.

I had an adventurous journey during the process of this painting. The roots remained firmly in the landscape, as I intuitively explored color combinations and textures. My work has slowly begun to loose up and become more abstracted over the years, and so what emerged was new to me, but it was exactly what I wanted. The artwork captures everything I love about being outdoors and celebrating the experience.
